Why "Fugitive Facts"? This is an old-school library term referring to a hard-to-find, oft-needed facts faithfully collected by librarians and generally located in a "fugitive file" at a reference desk.  This wiki is my attempt at bringing our fugitive file (the old "Visifile")  to the digital age. Plus I just love the term -- all those pesky facts trying to hide from us.   --AmyS
